AN ELEGANT SOLUTION FOR AN ELEGANT LANDMARK HOME
Problem: The owner of this historic 1900 Victorian house in southern New York needed a Mitsubishi ductless cooling system custom installed on the second floor. Because it is a designated landmark, we were required to run the refrigerant piping and electrical wiring so that it could not be seen on the exterior.
Solution: Our engineer and master technicians installed the system so that it ran through an interior closet, down through existing kitchen cabinets and into the basement. From there the piping and wiring were connected to the outdoor condensing unit, which we concealed under the porch. This installation not only maintained the original look of the house, but it also allowed us to remove the unsightly and noisy window unit from the second floor.
Our customer now enjoys super-quiet, super-efficient second-floor cooling and is delighted with the custom Arctic Mechanical installation.
